This 2,800 square foot mansard-roof home, built in 1910, is tucked into a dense Somerville neighborhood near Tufts University. Our team introduced a one-story addition with a light filled modern kitchen, dining area, and pantry, seamlessly extending to an outdoor deck. The addition of a full-height lower level added a primary bedroom suite with integrated storage. We strategically built a sunken patio beneath the deck which provides the homeowners with a private outdoor retreat space amongst the buzz of city living.
