Urban Treehouse

An underused attic was converted into a primary suite with a Japanese meets mid-century modern inspired bathroom for this 1910 Jamaica Plain residence. The designer capitalized on its elevated position, using large swathes of color referencing the views of the surrounding natural canopy. We crafted a vanity with an accent over the sink along with a linen cabinet made of pale ash. By pairing these with the green tiles it transforms this mid-century modern space into a functional, light-filled escape.
